ORDINARY TIME

Having journeyed through the beautiful season of Christmas, we now enter the more quiet period of Ordinary Time in the Church's liturgical calendar.  Now we walk with Jesus as he reveals Himself to the people, gathering disciples along the way.  The Sunday liturgies will continue this theme of manifestation until Lent begins.  Please join us as we gather at the Lord's table to be nourished by Word and Eucharist each Sunday.

We welcome you to the website of the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Labrador City, NL. Our parish has been serving the spiritual needs of the area for more than 50 years and we continue to joyfully do so today. Our doors are open to all who seek to grow in their relationship with God.

 

As our mission statement states, "We are the Roman Catholic Church of Labrador West. We gather as a family of faith at the Eucharist. We welcome one and all. We share our gifts of time, talent and treasure. We help one another experience the love of God."

We hope that this website will give you some basic information about our parish and even more importantly, we hope that it will lead you to come and see for yourself why so many people have made Basilica of Our Lady their spiritual home.
